The market-value estimates supplied for this comparison put Arsenal at €13.7M and Barcelona at €15.3M.
That leaves just around €1.6M separating two squads packed with some of the biggest names in world football.
Arsenal strengthened heavily again during the summer, with their new arrivals carrying the highest combined estimated market value of any WSL club’s incoming players.
Meanwhile, Barça remain stacked with talent including Clàudia Pina, Aitana Bonmatí, Vicky López, Caroline Graham Hansen and Ewa Pajor.
