Ball Boys Who Became Icons
Some of football's greatest players and managers started on the touchlines — chasing loose balls, handing them to opponents, and soaking up the atmosphere that would later define their careers.

The ball boy's role is often undervalued, but these stories prove otherwise. Being close to elite football from a young age — studying the movement, the temperament, the atmosphere — can shape a player or manager's entire worldview. As Pep Guardiola put it: even a ball boy, in a small country, can go on to destroy football.
