Munda, a representative of England at under-18 level, made his Premier League 2 debut during an away clash against Blackburn Rovers in January before scoring on his second start at under-21 level, an impressive stoppage-time leveller against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The central midfielder featured for Eddie Howe's side as a second-half substitute against Hull, making his senior bow in the process, before featuring in the latter stages of the Magpies' Sela Cup victory against Stade Brestois at St. James' Park.
Anthony was on target in Newcastle's 1-1 draw against local rivals Sunderland during the opening game of the Under-21s' 2024/25 Premier League 2 campaign.
