Lisandro Martinez earned his 36th cap for Argentina in a convincing 4-0 win over Bolivia.

The Manchester United centre-back played for 81 minutes, helping keep a clean sheet, in his country's first outing since the FIFA World Cup final defeat to Spain.

Lionel Messi did not feature in the game in Cordoba but will enjoy an emotional farewell cap in a match against Benin on Tuesday.

Lautaro Martinez opened the scoring before Nico Paz, who will face United with Como in the UEFA Champions League later this month, doubled the advantage.

After the break, Paz's corner was headed home by Cristian Romero, with the former Tottenham Hotspur defender also set to come up against Michael Carrick's side in Europe soon, following his transfer to Atletico de Madrid.

Substitute Jose Lopez completed the scoring with four minutes remaining.

Ex-Reds idol Cristiano Ronaldo has left the camp and will not play in the Danish capital.

Meanwhile, in the same competition, Joshua Zirkzee will hope to add to his Netherlands caps with an appearance in Greece.
