Ayyoub Bouaddi

Exciting, hard-working midfielder

Ayyoub Bouaddi joined the Blues in August 2026 on a five-year contract, making the move to the Premier League as one of the most exciting, young midfield talents in world football.

A technical, hard-working, ball-playing midfielder, Bouaddi began his craft in Creil before he joined Lille’s Academy in 2021.

Two years later, he signed his first professional contract with the Ligue 1 outfit before being handed his senior debut three days after his 16th birthday.

His appearance in Lille’s UEFA Europa Conference League group stage game against Faroese club Ki made him the youngest player to feature in a European club competition match.

He went on to become the youngest Ligue 1 player as he continued to impress in the heart of Lille’s engine room.

During his time in France, he represented their youth teams before Bouaddi made the decision to represent Morocco on the senior international stage.

Just a couple of months later, he was named in Morocco’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad and went on to make his debut against Brazil.

Bouaddi was one of the most impressive young players at the tournament and now, he’ll be looking to continue his development in Manchester.
