Dynamic young midfielder
Scotland youth international Amelia Oldroyd signed her first professional contract with City in August 2026.
She'd joined the Club in October 2025 from Manchester United and immediately slotted into our Next Gen squad during their debut PGA Under-21 campaign.
An energetic and technical midfielder, Oldroyd was a key figure from the get-go and was a regular feature in the Women's First Team set-up across the 2025/26 campaign.
That included spots in several matchday squads as City claimed a Barclays Women's Super League and FA Cup double.
In the WSL, she was included against Liverpool, West Ham, Everton and Manchester United, alongside a trip to Newcastle in the League Cup.
Making the step up alongside fellow Next Gen star Sacha Lewis in the summer of 2026, Amelia's exciting development will continue across the current campaign as she looks to make her mark.
