Strong, commanding midfielder
Floyd joined City's Academy at Under-9s level, with his style seeing him showcase his strength, power and excellent technical ability.
Always looking to learn and develop, Samba is also a midfielder who will work relentlessly for his team-mates.
They are all attributes we saw in Samba's first full season with the Under-18s in 2024/25. The England youth international totalled 38 appearances across all competitions in which he scored 24 goals and assisted 10 in a fantastic campaign.
Arguably his best goal was his incredible free-kick in our 2-1 FA Youth Cup final win over Manchester United, just a few weeks after Samba also helped City retain the Under-18 Premier League North title.
