Morocco qualifies for U20 African championship

Morocco secured their qualification for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations following a 2-0 victory over Egypt in Ismailia on Saturday. Goals from Adam Baalla and Sami Bouhouden propelled the Atlas Lions to the top of their qualifying group with seven points.

The result eliminates Tunisia and Libya from contention. Egypt, currently on six points, must now secure a result against Algeria in their upcoming match to determine the final qualifying spot. The top two teams from the North African tournament will advance to the continental finals hosted by Ghana.
