Tottenham shifts focus away from winter defensive additions

Tottenham reportedly intends to bypass signing a new centre-back during the January transfer window despite a challenging start to the domestic campaign. The club believes its existing defensive depth is sufficient following significant summer investments in the position.

Manager Roberto De Zerbi is said to be satisfied with his current options, including Micky van de Ven and Jan-Paul van Hecke. While Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae has been linked with the club, the report suggests a move is unlikely, with Tottenham planning to prioritize other areas of their squad.
