Keane Lauds Bellingham After England Rout

Jude Bellingham’s influence in England’s 7–0 victory over Croatia prompted praise from former Republic of Ireland captain Roy Keane. The midfielder scored and helped create further goals, while Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka each scored twice in Rijeka.

Keane’s assessment concerned Bellingham’s potential and his contribution without the ball as well as his technical quality. England’s performance also showed how their attacking players could combine effectively under Thomas Tuchel. The suggestion that Bellingham might become an all-time great remains the pundit’s opinion, not an established career verdict.
