Rodri scores again for Spain after lengthy injury disruption

Rodri scored for Spain against the Czech Republic after a lengthy period disrupted by injury. His 35th-minute finish put Spain two goals ahead, marking his first international goal since the March 2024 friendly against Brazil and taking his national-team tally to five.

The midfielder’s contribution was a positive sign for Luis de la Fuente as Rodri worked his way back into an influential role. The report connects the goal with his recovery, rather than treating one appearance as proof that the return to full fitness is complete.
