Kotoko faces Karela United in post-Tinkler league match
· TotalSports1Plus
Asante Kotoko will look for a fresh start at home against Karela United this Thursday following the resignation of head coach Eric Tinkler.
Asante Kotoko prepares to host Karela United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this Thursday. The club is in transition after Eric Tinkler resigned following a 2-0 loss to Aduana FC. Kotoko has struggled early in the season, recording just one win in four matches, and looks to improve their standing.
Karela United enters the match after a 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak. While they have scored in every league game this season, they remain winless on the road since February 2026. Historically, Kotoko has maintained an unbeaten home record against Karela in Kumasi over the last six league encounters.
