Kotoko Secure Point Against FC Samartex

In a hard-fought contest at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday, Asante Kotoko earned a 1-1 draw against FC Samartex. Goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad was instrumental for the visitors, saving a penalty in the 66th minute to keep Kotoko in the match. Shortly after, Emmanuel Mamah gave Kotoko the lead with a header in the 75th minute.

The home side equalized eight minutes later through Christian Agyenim Boateng, ensuring the match concluded in a stalemate. The result leaves Kotoko in fourth place with five points from three matches and still seeking their first away win of the season. Kotoko's next challenge is against Aduana FC, while Samartex heads to Swedru.
