Eric Tinkler Admits Defensive Concerns Despite Kotoko Win

Asante Kotoko coach Eric Tinkler expressed disappointment with his team's defensive performance despite securing a 2-1 win over Heart of Lions on Sunday. Tinkler noted that his players struggled to manage the rotational play and movement of the Lions' attack, admitting that the opposition could have easily secured a win.

Tinkler emphasized that the squad currently lacks the necessary tactical discipline regarding positioning and pressing. He stated the technical team will analyze the match footage to address these vulnerabilities before their next game against Samartex. While disappointed, Tinkler acknowledged the offensive improvements the team showed compared to their performance against Debibi United.
