· TotalSports1Plus
Mohammed Shawkan struck in the seventh minute of stoppage time to hand Aduana FC their first victory of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
Aduana FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Karela United at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park on Sunday. Stephen Amankona initially put the home side ahead via a 41st-minute penalty, but Karela fought back to level the score when an effort from Nyaba Iddi Mahfuz deflected into the net.
The match appeared to be heading for a stalemate until the seventh minute of added time, when Mohammed Shawkan found the breakthrough. This dramatic stoppage-time goal provided Samuel Boadu’s side with their first three points of the 2026/27 campaign, offering a necessary boost following their previous defeat.
