FC Samartex and Kotoko Set for Weekend Showdown

FC Samartex 1996 enters their Sunday fixture against Asante Kotoko with momentum, following consecutive wins and a strong home record. Conversely, Kotoko travels to Samreboi after earning their first win of the season against Heart of Lions. Coach Eric Tinkler has emphasized the importance of maintaining focus despite the long travel distance, urging his players to bring positive energy and high intensity to the field.

The history between the two clubs is closely contested, with each recording two wins and two draws in their last six encounters since 2023. While Samartex looks to protect their unbeaten home record, Kotoko will attempt to resolve their recent difficulties in away games to secure valuable points.
