Winfred Dormon Questions Refereeing in Medeama Draw
· TotalSports1Plus
Dreams FC coach Winfred Dormon expressed his belief that the referee should have shown restraint before sending off Oumar Nauffal during the draw with Medeama SC.
After a 2-2 stalemate with Medeama SC, Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon questioned the officiating regarding Oumar Nauffal's 55th-minute red card. Despite the setback, Dreams FC fought back to regain the lead late in the game through Abdul Razak Salifu, only to concede an equalizer in the 90th minute via an own goal.
Dormon indicated that he intends to review video footage of the red card incident to form a final judgment on the referee's decision. While he expressed frustration at failing to win despite a high-level performance, he emphasized the need for the team to push forward, noting that the draw leaves them with one point after two matches.
