Bechem United edge GoldStars in league opener
· TotalSports1Plus
A late first-half goal from Darlvin Yeboah secured a 1-0 win for Bechem United over Bibiani GoldStars.
Bechem United began their Ghana Premier League season with a 1-0 victory over Bibiani GoldStars at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Darlvin Yeboah scored the decisive goal in first-half injury time following a lapse in concentration by the visitors.
GoldStars showed early promise, but a missed opportunity by Razak Sanou and an early injury to Foster Agyei disrupted their momentum. Despite multiple second-half substitutions, including the introduction of Augustine Okrah, the visitors could not find an equalizer. Bechem United next travel to face Karela United, while GoldStars host Hearts of Oak.
