Medeama SC signs Usman Safianu

Medeama SC has officially signed former Hohoe United captain Usman Safianu as the club prepares to defend their league title. The 24-year-old joins the Tarkwa-based team as a free agent following Hohoe United’s relegation.

Safianu, who can play as either a full-back or centre-back, scored three goals last season. Head coach Ibrahim Tanko expects the addition to provide essential depth and leadership to a defense that conceded only 28 goals last term. The defender has joined the team's pre-season camp to begin preparations for the 2026/27 season.
