Basake Holy Stars Clinch Late Victory Over Swedru All Blacks

Basake Holy Stars began their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win at the AAK II Sports Arena. After a goalless first half, Francis Oteng Gyetuah broke the deadlock in the 82nd minute to secure all three points for the hosts. Swedru All Blacks were unable to equalize in the final minutes of the match.

This win provides Basake Holy Stars with a positive start ahead of their trip to face Young Apostles. For the visiting side, managed by Kobina Amissah, the defeat serves as a difficult beginning, prompting them to look for improvements before their next home game against Debibi United.
