Tinkler Blames Defensive Lapses for Aduana Loss

In his post-match assessment, Eric Tinkler attributed Asante Kotoko’s loss to Aduana FC to poor defensive execution and early errors. A mistake by goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim allowed Stephen Amankona to open the scoring, while a late counter-attack secured a second goal for the visitors. Tinkler admitted that the team struggled to recover after the initial conceded goal.

The defeat leaves Asante Kotoko in 12th place with five points from their first five matches. Tinkler acknowledged the result as part of the nature of football but lamented his players' inability to capitalize on second-half opportunities while facing a 10-man opposition.
