Tinkler Emphasizes Defensive Strategy Against Samartex

Heading into the match at Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Tinkler acknowledged the possession-heavy approach favored by Samartex coach Nana Kweku Agyemang. The South African coach stated that while his side will not abandon their game model, the team structure must adapt to neutralize the opposition's intense press.

Kotoko enters the clash following a 2-1 victory over Bibiani GoldStars. Tinkler hopes to build on this momentum, recognizing the difficulty of playing against a Samartex team that secured maximum points in their opening two matches, including a hard-fought win in Dormaa against Aduana FC.
