Debibi United Nearing Deal for Midfielder Issah Yakubu

Debibi United is close to signing experienced defensive midfielder Issah Yakubu from Basake Holy Stars, with both clubs currently engaged in positive discussions [L18]. While the deal is not yet official, sources indicate an agreement is likely to be reached soon [L18].

Since joining Holy Stars, Yakubu has been a consistent performer, including a notable man-of-the-match display against Berekum Chelsea, although he also received a yellow card during a match against Young Apostles [L18]. For Debibi United, acquiring the midfielder serves as a strategic move to improve their standing, while for Holy Stars, the transfer will provide resources for squad investment [L18].
