Seven clubs meet GFA licensing requirements ahead of deadline

· TotalSports1Plus

Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, and five other clubs have completed their licensing applications for the 2026/27 season before the July 31 deadline.

The GFA has confirmed that seven Premier League clubs, including Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, Dreams FC, Medeama SC, FC Samartex 1996, All Blacks United, and Basake Holy Stars, have submitted their licensing applications via the Club Licensing Online Platform [L93]. Other clubs are still working toward their submissions [L93].

The Association emphasized that the deadline of July 31 is firm, with no extensions planned [L93]. Failure to complete the process could lead to sanctions, including exclusion from the 2026/27 season, as the licensing process aims to enforce minimum professional standards in administration, infrastructure, and finance [L93].
