GFA IT Director touts digital database progress

GFA IT Director Francis Adu has highlighted the successful transition from paper-based registration to an integrated digital database for Ghana football. Supported by FIFA, the system now captures players from the juvenile level up to the senior ranks.

Adu noted that the system, which integrates with FIFA Connect, allows for real-time registration and improved transparency in player tracking. By expanding registration coverage beyond just the top divisions to include district-level football, the GFA aims to enhance the integrity of the ecosystem, improve eligibility checks, and provide a streamlined administrative experience for clubs.
