Bechem United President Calls for Integrity Reforms

Bechem United president Kingsley Owusu Achau has appealed to the Ghana Football Association to improve the monitoring of officiating, citing the need for credible matches to attract fans. In a recent radio interview, Achau stated that fair officiating is critical to preventing violence and boosting stadium attendance.

Achau alleged that bribery has historically affected Ghanaian football, suggesting that club officials have participated in improper payments in the past. He urged the GFA to enforce disciplinary measures against officials who perform poorly to ensure league integrity. The president's comments come ahead of Bechem United's season opener against Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday, September 6.
