Kwame Opoku remains optimistic despite Bibiani GoldStars' losing start

Bibiani GoldStars forward Kwame Opoku has urged calm after the Miners suffered back-to-back defeats to open their Ghana Premier League campaign. Following an opening-day loss to Bechem United, GoldStars were beaten 2-1 by Hearts of Oak at Dun’s Park on Sunday.

Opoku scored in the 11th minute to give his side the lead, but Hearts of Oak secured the victory with second-half goals from Yaw Amankwa Baafi and Henry Kwaku Boateng. Despite the result, Opoku insisted it is too early in the season to panic and expressed confidence that the team will find their form as the campaign progresses.
