Kotoko Aiming to End Winless Streak Against Heart of Lions

Asante Kotoko coach Eric Tinkler is looking to overcome a difficult recent record against Heart of Lions, who have remained unbeaten against the Porcupine Warriors since 2023. Tinkler emphasized the need for self-belief, noting that the team’s pre-season preparations against the Lions provided valuable insights into their opponent's structured and hard-working playstyle.

The coach stressed that securing maximum points in home matches is crucial for their league campaign. Following a 2-2 draw with Debibi United, Kotoko enters this Sunday's clash eager to secure their first league win. Lions are also seeking a response after their own 0-0 opening draw against Aduana FC.
