Competition drives Hearts training standards

Hearts of Oak manager Nebojsa Kapor attributes the team’s unbeaten start to the season to the fierce competition for positions within the squad. He stated that the high stakes for earning a starting jersey have forced players to perform at their best during every training session. Kapor believes this competitive environment allows him to get the best out of his players, both as individuals and as a collective unit.

The Phobians are preparing for a difficult trip to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium to face Karela United. Karela has faced a difficult start to their campaign, losing two of their first three matches, and is expected to be highly motivated to secure a win after a late loss to Aduana FC in their previous outing.
