GFA announces GH₵3m prize for league champions

GFA president Kurt Okraku announced that the winner of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League will earn GH₵3m in prize money. Additionally, the champions will be awarded a JAC vehicle valued at $33,000.

Addressing delegates at the GFA’s 32nd Ordinary Congress, Okraku noted that each of the 18 competing clubs will receive GH₵1m. A total of GH₵9.5m will be distributed among the clubs for the new campaign, which is scheduled to commence on Saturday, September 5.
