Tinkler Bids Farewell to Kotoko Squad

Eric Tinkler confirmed his resignation to the Asante Kotoko squad, reiterating that the choice was unrelated to the 2-0 defeat against Aduana FC. He explained that he had made the decision the previous week, but stayed on at the request of the club's chairman to manage the Aduana match.

The South African coach identified an opportunity in his home country as the primary reason for his departure. During his farewell, Tinkler praised the players for their discipline and dedication, maintaining that the team still has the potential to achieve its goals this season. He concluded on an emotional note, suggesting that he might return to the club in the future.
