Medeama SC manager Ibrahim Tanko has described the loss of the club's league-leading position to Bibiani Gold Stars as a painful development. The team struggled through a six-match winless streak, culminating in a 2-1 defeat to Dreams FC that saw them slip from first place.

Tanko admitted to Medi TV that his team's slow start against Dreams FC proved costly, despite an improved second-half showing. He emphasized the need to leave the setback behind, focusing on the remaining eight games of the season. Medeama is now preparing for their next match against Eleven Wonders, which is scheduled for March 27 at the TnA Stadium.
