Oumar Nauffal’s Dismissal Proves Costly for Dreams FC
· TotalSports1Plus
Dreams FC coach Winfred Dormon cited Oumar Nauffal’s second-half red card as a primary reason for the team's inability to hold a late lead against Medeama SC.
Winfred Dormon, coach of Dreams FC, labeled Oumar Nauffal’s red card a significant blow that hampered his side’s chances in their 2-2 draw with Medeama SC. Although Dreams regained the lead late in the game thanks to Abdul Razak Salifu, playing with 10 men for most of the second half forced the team to concede a 90th-minute own goal.
Dormon explained that the team had made tactical adjustments at halftime to push higher, but the dismissal limited their control. Dreams FC currently sit at the bottom of the league table with a single point from two games. The coach is now looking ahead to their next league opponent, Bechem United, as the team continues to hunt for their first win.
