Players released as Hohoe United face four-year ban
· TotalSports1Plus
Hohoe United players are now free to sign with other clubs following the GFA's decision to ban the team for four years.
The GFA Disciplinary Committee has granted free-agent status to all Hohoe United players after the club was hit with a four-year ban for withdrawing from the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. This decision effectively ends the players' contractual obligations to the suspended club.
Players are now permitted to sign with new teams without restriction, though existing clauses regarding previous transfers, such as sell-on fees, remain binding. The ruling provides clarity for the squad members whose careers were left in limbo after the club's exit from the top flight.
