Basake Holy Stars and Swedru All Blacks Prepare for Season Opener

Basake Holy Stars begin their season at home against Swedru All Blacks on September 4, 2026. Seeking to improve on last season's 12th-place finish, Holy Stars have reappointed Abdulai Gazale as head coach. The club retains much of the squad from his previous spell, aiming for better continuity this year.

Swedru All Blacks, meanwhile, have brought in Kobinah Amissah as head coach and Kassim Mingle as Technical Director to stabilize the club after narrowly avoiding relegation last year. The visitors have also been active in the transfer market, adding players such as Faisal Charwetey and Prince Arthur. Both teams are looking to start the new campaign on a positive note after disappointing previous seasons.
