Opoku rues missed opportunity in GoldStars' home loss

Following a 2-1 loss to Hearts of Oak at Dun’s Park, Bibiani GoldStars forward Kwame Opoku stated that the result did not reflect his team’s performance. Opoku opened the scoring in the 11th minute and felt the hosts dominated the first half before Hearts of Oak responded with goals from Yaw Amankwa Baafi and Henry Kwaku Boateng after the break.

The defeat leaves GoldStars without a point after two league matches. Opoku said the team failed to execute their plan but remains focused on improving their home form and managing away fixtures to recover from the difficult start.
