Tinkler prioritizes 'controllables' for Samartex test

Asante Kotoko head coach Eric Tinkler believes his team can influence their outcome against FC Samartex 1996 by prioritizing their own intensity and energy levels. Acknowledging that the long journey to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena and the strength of the opposition are outside of their control, the coach insists that positive football and high work rates remain the key factors for success. Samartex has begun the season strongly, winning both of their opening matches, including a 1-0 result against Aduana FC, and remaining undefeated in four home games.

Building on their 2-1 win over Heart of Lions, Kotoko aim to address their poor away record, having won only one of their last 10 league trips. Tinkler remains focused on the squad's response to these challenges.
