Chelsea's Reggie Watson wins PL2 Player of the Month for September

Chelsea's Reggie Watson has been named Premier League 2 (PL2) Player of the Month for September.

The 16-year-old, who is the son of former Crystal Palace, Wigan Athletic and Watford midfielder Ben Watson, scored three goals as the Blues ended September in fourth place.

Watson, also a midfielder like his father, began the month by scoring twice in an emphatic 4-1 victory against London rivals Arsenal.

He then followed that up by scoring in another derby, netting the second goal in a comeback win over Fulham.

Watson topped the eight-man shortlist below that was selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel.
