2026-10-01
Everton have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to bring you hints, tips and advice throughout the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season. Scout will use its expertise to provide information, advice and Gameweek tips that could help you stay on top of your mini-leagues. For many managers, the difference between winning your mini-leagues and coming second is investing in the right differentials. Differentials are players who are owned by under 10 per cent of FPL managers. These players are important as they can make the biggest difference to your rank as they help to differentiate your team from the teams around you. Here are three great differentials from the Toffees' team to invest in after the current international break. Jordan Pickford (£5.5m) Pickford has registered 25 points so far this season – only four goalkeepers in the game have registered more points so far this season. The Everton No.1 is one of only five goalkeepers to have kept three clean sheets so far this season – no shot-stopper in the game have kept more. Pickford has also made 17 saves in the league this season which has resulted in him earning three additional save points. Goalkeepers register save points for every three saves that they make in a game. Over the course of the 2025/26 season, Pickford registered 135 points. If he continues at his current rate, the England international looks set to beat that tally in the 2026/27 season. Pickford is currently owned by 9.1 per cent of managers. Thierno Barry (£5.7m) Barry has registered 20 FPL points over the opening gameweeks of the season, averaging four points per start. The forward has already scored two league goals this season and registered two bonus points. He has also been one of the most creative forwards in the game. Barry has created five chances for his teammates, averaging one per game – only four forwards have created more chances with six or seven. The Frenchman's 17 shots on goal this season can be bettered in the Everton team by only Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£6.6m), and of those, 16 have come from inside the box. Barry has also had a team-leading eight big chances. Barry is found in 8.3 per cent of FPL teams. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£6.6m) During the 2025/26 season, Dewsbury-Hall registered an impressive 151 points which left him in the top 14 midfielders in the game. The Blues' No.8 registered eight goals, 10 assists, eight clean sheets and 10 Defensive Contribution points. Midfielders register two addition Defensive Contribution points if they register 12 defensive actions or more in a game. Defensive actions include clearances, blocks, interceptions, tackles and ball recoveries. So far during the 2026/27 season, Dewsbury-Hall has registered 20 points. The midfielder has a goal and three clean sheets as well as three bonus points. He has team leading tallies for shots (18), crosses (21) and chances created (11). He also has the added benefit of having set-piece responsibilities. Dewsbury-Hall has taken 13 corners this season and have seven shots from set pieces. Set-piece takers are popular in FPL as they are seen to have an additional route to FPL points. Dewsbury-Hall is found in 6.0 per cent of FPL teams.
