Brighton head coach receives prize after overseeing an unbeaten September
Fabian Hurzeler has won the Barclays Manager of the Month award for a second time after steering Brighton & Hove Albion to a sensational September.
Brighton surged to third in the table with two wins and a draw, scoring nine goals and conceding just once, leading to Hurzeler claiming the prize for the first time since August 2024.
The Seagulls beat the reigning champions for the third season running with an impressive 3-0 victory against Arsenal, inflicting a first defeat of the campaign on the Gunners. They also won 5-0 away at Coventry City and drew 1-1 with in-form Leeds United.
Hurzeler’s side lead the Premier League for possession, shots on target per match, big chances created and possession won in the final third this season.
Furthermore, their 16 league goals are three more than second top-scorers Arsenal, with Hurzeler's free-scoring team averaging 3.2 goals per game.
