The Scout picks players to invest in - and to avoid - based on their teams' next five Gameweeks
The Scout uses the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR) to identify the clubs with the best and worst schedules over the next five Gameweeks in Fantasy Premier League.
Who has the best fixtures?
A recent update of the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR) shows why Fulham's key players can be great short-term investments for Fantasy managers.
The Cottagers' average of 2.4 over the next five Gameweeks is the best of any side in the Premier League, with Fulham facing all three promoted clubs over the next three Gameweeks.
Promoted pair Coventry City and Ipswich Town also have the schedules to provide great value in Fantasy across Gameweeks 6-10, with Bobby Thomas and Leif Davis (both £4.0m) offering great options in defence, while Newcastle United's key picks also have the opportunity to thrive.
Club FDR average No. of matches scoring 2 in FDR*
Fulham 2.4 3
Coventry, Newcastle 2.8 1
Ipswich, Spurs 3.0 2
Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Sunderland 3.0 1
*1=easiest possible fixture, 5=hardest possible fixture
Fulham's exceptional run of matches against Ipswich, Hull City and Coventry is reflected by the FDR, with each of them scoring a mere two.
If you're on a Wildcard, Alvaro Arbeloa's side offer options in all three outfield positions, with David Affengruber (£4.5m), Josh King (£5.5m) and Gonzalo Garcia (£6.0m) the players in question.
Centre-back Affengruber has earned two defensive contribution (DC) points in both his starts this season. Notably, Fulham have conceded a total of one goal across those contests, at Liverpool and at home to Manchester United, over the last two Gameweeks.
In attack, Garcia and King are the top two players for goal threat by some margin and both also fare well when compared with other players in their positions in Fantasy.
Garcia's 15 shots are joint-third with Alexander Isak (£9.1m) among forwards, while his 13 shots in the both rank fourth.
The Spaniard has had four big chances (situations where a player is expected to score), twice the total of King's two.
In King's case, his total of 11 shots in the box sits joint-fifth among midfielders and just one behind big-hitters such as Bukayo Saka (£9.5m) and Cole Palmer (£9.7m).

8 Coventry (A) 2

10 Newcastle (H) 3
Newcastle's kind run of opponents has caught the eye of many managers in Gameweek 6, with Lewis Hall (£5.3m) the second most-bought defender and Harvey Barnes (£6.1m) the third most-bought midfielder.
Hall's multiple routes to points returns makes him a consistent pick, as evidenced by his goal, assist, clean sheet, six DC points and one blank over the first five Gameweeks.
Barnes has one goal and three assists to his name, although his returns have been more sporadic, with three blanks in five outings.
Forward Yoane Wissa (£6.2m) has had five of Newcastle's nine big chances, but has only scored one goal, while also supplying an assist. He is their most-popular player, found in 18 per cent of squads.

Who has the worst fixtures?
Brighton & Hove Albion's recent run of fixture-proof results has managers in Fantasy rushing to invest in their players in Gameweek 6.
Having just beaten Arsenal 3-0 at home, the Seagulls have now scored at least three goals in four of the first five Gameweeks.
Midfielder Pascal Gross (£5.8m) is the top-scoring player in Fantasy, scoring three goals and assisting four more. He's also the most-bought player in Gameweek 6, with a hefty 774,000+ new owners.
Meanwhile, Maxim De Cuyper (£5.0m) and Charalampos Kostoulas (£5.6m) are also the most-bought defender and forward respectively, collecting 292,000+ and 303,000+ new backers respectively.
If you've yet to invest in the Seagulls, it's worth noting that, along with Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Liverpool, their schedule is ranked as the worst over the next five Gameweeks.
Club FDR average No. of matches scoring more than 3 in FDR
Brighton, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Liverpool 3.4 2
As you can see from the table below, Brighton have three away matches in the next four Gameweeks. Two of them - at Liverpool and Man City - score at least four in the FDR.
