Cherif Yaya played his second consecutive game for Ilkeston Town in the Robins’ FA Trophy third qualifying round. Ilkeston suffered a 3-1 defeat to exit the competition, with attentions returning to the Northern Premier League, where the Robins currently sit 20th on seven points. Finally, Eric da Silva Moreira entered Germany Under-20s’ Elite League U20s opening fixture with France in the 66th minute with the scoreline goalless. Germany went on to win the game 1-0 to get their campaign off to the perfect start.
