Why NOW is the ideal time to start FPL Draft

With the international break now in full swing, and following the first five Gameweeks of the season and the summer transfer window closing, now is a great time to start playing Fantasy Draft.

Set up a draft NOW

The Gameweek 6 deadline is at 11:00 BST on Saturday 10 October , so there's plenty of time to set a date for your draft.

You can prepare your Watchlist, the equivalent of a draft board, based on players' form and their fixtures, and armed with the knowledge garnered from the opening five Gameweeks, such as who is starting regularly and who each club's set-piece takers are.

Fantasy Draft is a version of the Fantasy Premier League game where each Premier League player can only be in ONE squad in your league, so only one manager can own Manchester City's Erling Haaland and benefit from his points, for example.

Each league will start with a "draft" where friends, family or colleagues take it in turns to make their player selections - and every squad will be entirely different.

There's no budget to worry about, and no player prices. It's just a question of who can snap up the top stars and assemble the best squad during the draft, against the clock.
