Kyra Cooney-Cross voted Arsenal Women’s Player of the Month for September

Kyra Cooney-Cross has been voted by supporters as our women’s Player of the Month for September.

Our Australian midfielder joined up with the team late in pre-season but took no time to get back to her best, dictating the play in our 1-0 win over HB Koge in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and playing 90 minutes against Chelsea and Paris FC, as well as 59 minutes against Crystal Palace.

From an attacking point of view her busiest game was against Koge, in which she had three shots, while defensively she was most productive against Chelsea with four interceptions. She also won 83% of her aerial duels.

This is the fourth time Kyra has won our fan-voted POTM award, having previously done so in November 2023, January 2025, and December 2025.
