Perfect start: Bayern's record so far in the league reads five games, five wins and a goal difference of 18-6. They won 5-2 in their last Bundesliga match against Köln. | © FC Bayern / Eva Dippold
Eintracht are winless in nine Bundesliga meetings with Bayern, with three of those ending in draws and six going the way of Munich. It’s an impressive run – but not one that head coach José Barcala’s side can rest on, since the Eagles have been a force to be reckoned with on home soil of late. Eintracht are unbeaten at home in the Bundesliga since a 5-0 reverse to Bayern in December 2025, and have scored at least once in each of their last 10 home league games. Only Bayern with 14 and VfL Wolfsburg with 27 boast a longer goalscoring run at home. History is on FCB’s side, but the present hints at a tricky task.
Bayern hard to beat on the road

That said, Bayern have won their last 21 Bundesliga games away from home – a club record. In the history of the German top flight, only Frankfurt themselves have surpassed that: between 2003 and 2006, the former 1. FFC Frankfurt registered 27 consecutive victories on the road. FCB are now gradually closing in on that record after wins at Union Berlin and Bayer 04 Leverkusen this season. The double winners scored seven goals in those two outings, while Ena Mahmutovic picked the ball out of her net three times. So it’s not just about three points for the Bavarians in Frankfurt, but also extending a run that has already made club history. And could soon make league history.
Freigang, Memeti and Co: Beware of Frankfurt firepower

Frankfurt also go into the meeting with an attack that don’t pass up many chances. Laura Freigang is the team’s leading figure in that regard: the captain currently tops the Bundesliga scoring chart with four goals from five games. Erëleta Memeti, meanwhile, is the creative link in Eintracht’s attacking play. She’s been directly involved in at least one goal in each of her last six Bundesliga appearances, with seven goal contributions already to her name in this campaign – one goal and six assists. That makes her the joint leading provider in the league alongside Klara Bühl. For Bayern, that means not just focusing on Freigang. Memeti can often make the difference with a pass, a run or a litle moment that suddenly turns a possibility into a big chance.
Recent history speaks for Bayern

The overall head-to-head record between Frankfurt and Bayern is even: in 52 Bundesliga encounters, there have been 23 wins for the hosts, 23 for FCB and six draws. In recent times, however, the balance has swung heavily in Munich’s favour. As mentioned, Eintracht are winless in the last nine, the most recent of those ending in a 2-0 win for Bayern in May in the final home game of last season. The champions’ last trip to the Stadion am Brentanobad was that 5-0 success almost a year ago.
