FC Barcelona
Records from a Clásico for the ages
2026-10-05
Sunday's game with Real Madrid will go down in the FC Barcelona annals

The 7-0 Clásico win was much more than another show of Barça strength. The Barça v Real Madrid clash at Spotify Camp Nou produced unprecedented individual and team records, while further underlining the stature that Pere Romeu's side has achieved in both domestic and international football.
Pina hits four
Clàudia Pina was the star of the Clásico with four goals, all in the first half, becoming the first Barça player to score four against Real Madrid. The only previous Barça player to do so was Asisat Oshoala , who also scored four against the Madrid side in 2020, when they were still competing as CD Tacón .
Pajor, all-time Clásico top scorer
The sixth goal of the game also had special significance. Ewa Pajor scored against Real Madrid to reach 15 goals in Clásicos, equalling the record previously held outright by Alexia Putellas . The Polish striker, with plenty of her career still ahead of her, now shares top spot in the all-time scoring charts for this fixture.
A record-breaking win
The 7-0 scoreline also set a new record in the history of the Clásico. Never before had Barça scored seven against Real Madrid or won a meeting between the sides by seven goals. The previous biggest win was 6-0, also in Barça's favour, but Sunday's result went one better to become the team's largest ever victory over Real Madrid.
50 appearances for Serrajordi
The Clásico was also a special occasion for Clara Serrajordi . The young player, one of La Masia's brightest prospects, made her 50th appearance for the Barça first team. It is a significant milestone for a player who is becoming increasingly prominent and continuing to establish herself as one of the team's key players for the present and future.
Spotify Camp Nou sets another record
The celebrations were not confined to the pitch. A crowd of 40,533 filled Spotify Camp Nou for the Clásico, setting a new Liga F attendance record. The first league Clásico at the renovated stadium thus showcased both Barça's huge support and the continued growth of the women's game.
