Barça Atlètic 4-0 Peña Sport: On a roll and unbeaten

2026-09-26

The blaugranes now have 10 points from a possible 12 in the league and are yet to concede

Barça Atlètic continued their excellent start to the season with a 4-0 win over Peña Sport at the Estadi Johan Cruyff in the Segunda Federación. A goal from the penalty spot from Ignasi Quer, a strike from Landry and a brace from Kluivert allowed Julian Belleti's side to make it 3 wins and a draw from their opening four matches in the competition this season.

XI with notable absentees

Despite the absence of Bisiwu, Orian Goren, Catovic and Jordi Pesquer, all away on international duty, the blaugranes stamped their dominance on the game early on. Nevertheless, the first real chance fell to the visitors as Barça keeper Iker Rodríguez was called into action to deny Peña Sport the opening goal of the game.

Quer with five so far

Ignasi Quer was the man to break the deadlock in the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Alex González was brought down in the box and Quer stepped to convert the penalty on 25 minutes, his fifth goal of the season.

Barça lost Villar to injury before break but they could have gone in at half time 2-0 with Ybarra and Argemí having chances to add to the blaugranes' lead.

Landry and Kluivert seal win

After scoring with a header in the win over Barbastro, Landry repeated the trick against Peña Sport to make it 2-0 on 74 minutes. Second half substitute Shane Kluivert took advantage of some tired defending from the visitors to grab a late brace to make the final score 4-0 to the blaugranes, another clean sheet for Juliano Belletti's who are to conceded a single goal in the league so far in 2026/27.
