Baum's debut goal up for WSL Goal of the Month

Lisa Baum has been nominated for the WSL's Goal of the Month award for September for her stunning debut strike against Brighton on the opening weekend.

We got off to a winning start this season thanks to Lisa's strike just ten minutes into her professional Arsenal debut.

The teenager picked up the ball in midfield and make a superb driving run into the penalty area, before rifling a powerful finish in off the underside of the crossbar from a tight angle.

Lisa is one of eight nominees for this month's award, with Danielle van de Donk, Kirsty Hanson and Grace Fisk also up for the award having scored standout goals in their opening fixtures.

They're joined on the shortlist by Mary Fowler, Jodie Hutton, Lynn Wilms and Oceane Hurtre. Supporters can get voting now, with the window closing at 11am (UK) on Monday October 5, before the winners are announced on Thursday, October 8.
