Misa nominated for WSL Save of the Month

Misa Rodriguez has been nominated for September’s British Gas WSL Save of the Month award.

Our new goalkeeper produced a stunning stop in our opening Women’s Super League game of the season away to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Press play on the video below to watch the save at the start of our match highlights! Misa gets down and stretches out her right hand to deny Kiko Seike, who got on the end of a long ball over the top.

Cast your vote! Voting closes at 10am on Monday, October 5.

For this award, Misa is going up against saves from Phallon Tullis-Joyce for Manchester United against us, Khiara Keating for Liverpool against Manchester City, and Akane Okuma for Aston Villa against Chelsea.
