Smilla Holmberg says attention turns to the training pitch, where we’ll be looking to right the wrongs of our last two Women’s Super League draws at Emirates Stadium.

It was our Swedish right back who got the 95th-minute equaliser against Manchester United on Saturday evening, but she was disappointed our efforts could only count for one point.

“Of course, not good enough,” she said after the game. “We want to win every game, especially here at Emirates. This was an important game to bounce back from the last game. It was tough today, but it wasn't good enough really.

“I think the fans were amazing, incredible. So yeah, just disappointed that we couldn't do better.”

We’ve had so much of the ball and created so many chances in the last two matches, so can Smilla put her finger on why we’re not finding the back of the net much?

“That's a good question,” she said. “When you play for Arsenal, you want to win these types of games, so you want to score a lot of goals. We have to keep working hard, and we know what this group is capable of doing. Just keep working hard and see what we can do better.

“[The message when I came on was] just bring the energy. We want to win the game, and unfortunately we couldn't win the game today. Just communicate and bring the energy. So yes, unfortunately we couldn't get to win today, so disappointed. Now we have to regroup and focus on Tuesday.

“It’s incredible to play at Emirates and to score here at Emirates, in front of family and around 30,000 here, so incredible of course. Just disappointed that we couldn't give three points back to them.”
